Last but not least, the attendees. Thank you all for coming to Nairobi and participating in the APS East 2016. Without you, there is no summit, so once again thank you so much for your attendance and support or interest in the APS East!
Slides from majority of the conference sessions will be emailed to delegates! Videos and images are being edited and will be shared shortly!
For the first time, the Africa Pharmacy Congress, a conference and networking event with the objective to support pharmacists in their lifelong learning and continuing professional development was held on 24 February during the APS.
A further premiere was the Tableting and Capsule Technology Conference on 25 February 2016. A FREE conference, the conference was a great opportunity for the industry to learn the latest technologies on tablet presses, encapsulation and granulation, providing exhibitors with a chance to hear from their customers their day-to-day challenges and deliver to them expert advice and solutions.

It was a pleasure to work with you and to attend the conference. As I mentioned to both of you, that was the most interesting and useful conference I have gone to in all my 10 years in the pharma industry.
Supported by trade bodies and industry associations
Taking cognizance of the growing influence and its visibility, the 2016 edition of Africa Pharmaceutical Summit saw a greater support and participation from some of the region’s apex policy making bodies such as East African Community (EAC), Kenya Ministry of Industrialization & Enterprise Development (MOIED) and the regional industry body, the Federation of East African Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (FEAPM). Additionally, Kenya Association of Pharmaceutical Industry (KAPI), Kenya Pharmaceutical Distributors Association (KPDA), Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya (PSK) and Kenya Pharmaceutical Association (KPA) officially supported this event.
PharmaAfrica is honoured to partner with organizations, innovative projects and individuals working to improve health and nutrition of newborn babies and children. We believe this also aligns perfectly with two key areas our partners focus on.
